What is O.G. Anunoby's injury?
On Sunday, Raptors head coach Nick Nurse told reporters that Anunoby is dealing with a "mild, mild sprain" of his left ankle, per Raptors VP of Health and Performance, Alex McKechnie.
Here's a look at the play where it happened.
After missing extended time in each of the last two seasons, Anunoby has been very durable this year, appearing in 64 of the team's first 78 games. In the win over Charlotte, Anunoby finished with 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field and 5-of-6 shooting from deep.
Over his last five games, Anunoby is averaging 21.6 points while shooting 48.6 percent from 3-point range.
How long will O.G. Anunoby be out?
Anunoby will be available for Tuesday's game against the Hornets, meaning he will not miss any games due to his mild ankle injury.
Will Barton (sprained ankle) will return for Raptors vs. Hornets, while O.G. Anunoby (sprained ankle) and Precious Achiuwa (non-COVID illness) will also play. Gary Trent Jr. (back spasms) remains a game-time decision, but is unlikely.
