An intense night is incoming as Barcelona and Inter Milan lock horns in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League semifinal on May 6 at the San Siro.
The first leg ended in a 3-3 draw between the two sides at the Estadio Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium. But, ahead of the crucial return match, the Nerazzurri have three outstanding injuries, including Valentin Carboni, Benjamin Pavard and Lautaro Martinez.
Carboni has been out since October with an ACL tear, Pavard and Martinez's injuries are more recent and currently more pressing.
Pavard is still recovering from ankle sprain, while Martinez picked up a hamstring injury in Barcelona, missing two and one club matches respectively.
While they remain doubtful for the semifinal second leg against Barca, Simone Inzaghi has shared fresh fitness updates on the duo.
In an interview with Sky Sport Italia, Inzaghi mentioned that Pavard is been back in group training.

"Motivations are crucial, but you have to assess how they feel personally. Pavard did something with the group yesterday. There were good feelings," he said.
Inzaghi also addressed Martinez's situation as the fans anticipate their captain's return to action.
What did Simone Inzaghi say about Lautaro Martinez?
Martinez had to be subbed off at the beginning of the second half in Catalonia Speaking on the Argentine striker's progress, Inzaghi stated they will "make the best decision" on the 27-year-old ahead of the clash.

"Lautaro has been out since Wednesday. Surely he’ll do something with us, and then we’ll make the best decision, after talking to him and the staff."
Inzaghi wants his squad at full strength for such a vital game, and Martinez's presence against Barcelona will be a boost and relief, as the striker is the Nerazzurri's top scorer this season, with 21 goals in 47 appearances
