Is Anthony Davis playing tonight?
Davis won't play against the Grizzlies on Wednesday, head coach JJ Redick announced.
Davis was listed as "questionable" with a left heel contusion. The Lakers and Grizzlies will tip off shortly after 8 p.m. ET Wednesday.
After the Lakers loss to the Pistons Monday, a dejected Davis said he had "been managing [the injury] since the summer," adding that he "landed on the spot that's been killing me."

Davis' injury was initially believed to be an ankle issue but further evaluation determined it was a bruise in his heel. He aggravated the injury on consecutive plays.
First, Davis landed on another player's foot while attempting to block a shot. On the ensuing possession, Davis landed awkwardly after getting fouled on a layup attempt.
