The Carolina Panthers have given Bryce Young a giant vote of confidence.
The No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft struggled as a rookie, but he showed that he still has potential with how he performed down the stretch of the 2024 season.
That's what makes the Panthers' No. 8 overall pick on Thursday night such a good one. Carolina took Tetairoa McMillan, a wide receiver out of Arizona.
McMillan can immediately become Young's new favorite target.
"I love this pick for Bryce Young," ESPN's Booger McFarland said on the broadcast. "You give him a bigger body to throw the football."

In his last two seasons at Arizona, McMillan had 174 catches for more than 2,800 yards and 18 touchdowns.
McMillan has been compared to both Mike Evans and Drake London.
ESPN's Mel Kiper Jr. had McMillan ranked as the No. 19 player on his board.
It was a weird draft process for McMillan. Early on, he was mocked as high as No. 4 to the Patriots. Lately, he had slid outside the top-20 in some mock drafts.
In the end, McMillan settled in between.
Young must be pumped. McMillan was certainly pumped on stage in Green Bay.
"I'm ready to do whatever it takes," McMillan said on the ESPN broadcast. "I know I've got a quarterback I can trust in."
