Taysom Hill injury update: Saints utility man expected to miss rest of season after Week 13 knee injury image

Taysom Hill had to be carted off late in the Saints Week 13 game against the Rams. He does a little bit of everything for New Orleans, often serving as a quarterback, running back, and tight end in various formations.

Hill was called upon to try and pick up a first down on 4th-and-short in the fourth quarter. He got the job done, but as he ran left on the draw play, he was hit low by a Los Angeles defender. Hill took a helmet to the knee, and at the same time, a different Rams defender was tackling him from behind.

Here are the latest updates on Hill's injury.

Hill is expected to miss the rest of the season due to a knee injury, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Tests confirmed the injury Monday, per Schefter.

Hill reportedly tore his ACL and did other damage to the knee, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Hill was carted off the field after picking up a first down on 4th-and-short in the fourth quarter vs. the Rams. New Orleans quickly diagnosed him with a knee injury, and he was deemed "doubtful" to return in Week 13.

Following the injury, there was a growing fear that it was serious and his season could be in jeopardy.

That reportedly turned out to the be case, per multiple reports. Hill will now focus on rehabbing from the injury, with hopes to return in 2025.
