The fight could either be a masterful performance from Fundora or a surprise Badillo win. The former seems more likely.
Fundora is one of the top punchers out there. She ranks seventh in +/- at 9.8 and averages the third-most total punches thrown per round (56.6), and landed (17.2). “Sweet Poison” lands the most jabs per round (5), which has helped take her opponents to the floor.
Volume shots are key for Fundora. Beating Arely Mucino for the IBF flyweight title in 2023, Fundora landed 35 of 87 punches in a two-minute round one. She outlanded Mucino 136-31 in just ten minutes. Against Gabriela Alaniz, Fundora landed 112 of 482 shots in a fight that ended in the seventh.

Her opponents land the seventh-fewest punches landed (8.1). Alaniz landed 97 of 359 shots when they fought. Part of the reason is for her volume and her impeccable defense. Fast and efficient, Fundora can use her height and power to her advantage.
Badillo has not faced the same level of competition as the champion, and her lack of power may be a detriment against someone who has as much pop as Fundora has.
