After a week of end-to-end action, the all-important day is finally upon us, with the 2025 World Snooker Championship winner to be decided over the next 48 hours. It has come down to Mark Williams and Zhao Xintong to crown this year's champion.

Williams did not have an easy pathway to becoming the oldest-ever finalist in the Crucible by any means. As has been the case throughout the tournament, the veteran Welshman had to tough it out against Judd Trump in the semifinal to win by a narrow margin of 17-14.

On the other hand, Xintong has been dominant throughout the tournament, and he surprised many when he convincingly defeated snooker legend Ronnie O'Sullivan 17-7 in the semifinal, with a session to spare.

First held all the way back in 1927, and for the last 48 consecutive years at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, the World Snooker Championship is the tournament in global snooker, and we're down to the final two players gunning to win their sizeable share of a prize pot worth over £2 million.

The deciding match of this year's World Snooker Championship is just hours away from the first break, and to make sure you catch all the world-class action from the Crucible, The Sporting News has you covered for scheduling, TV and streaming details.
