Patrick Mahomes vs. Josh Allen never fails to deliver. The two leaders of AFC contenders bring the heat in every head-to-head matchup, and the Week 11 bout in Buffalo was no different.
Allen and the Bills picked up another regular-season victory over Mahomes and the Chiefs with a 30-21 win at Highmark Stadium on Sunday. The Buffalo win snapped the undefeated streak for Kansas City, as the defending Super Bowl champions were handed their first loss, dropping to 0-1 on the season. Meanwhile, the Bills moved to 9-2 with the win.
The victory was Allen's fourth in his career over his counterpart — all coming during the regular season. While the Bills star owns a 4-1 record over the Chiefs quarterback, it's the three-time Super Bowl champion who has bragging rights in the playoffs, with a 3-0 record over Allen.

It's very likely that the two are heading toward another postseason bout. With both leading their divisions, another clash between Mahomes and Allen could be on deck in a few months.
In fact, the Chiefs quarterback already is hinting at another meet-up. Mahomes had a message for Allen after the Bills' win on Sunday. Here's what he had to say to his rival.

What did Patrick Mahomes say to Josh Allen?
After the Bills hung on for the big win, Allen and Mahomes met at the center of the field. The pair have become close due to their careers in the NFL and frequent matchups throughout the season.
So, it wasn't too surprising to hear Mahomes hint at another matchup on the 2024 slate against the talented Allen.

"We'll do it again baby," Mahomes said to Allen in their embrace.
It's entirely possible that Buffalo and Kansas City meet again in the AFC playoffs. The pair of contenders sit first and second in the conference, with the Chiefs at 9-1 and the Bills close behind at 9-2. If those placements hold until the regular season, the two would line up to play in the AFC Championship.
Both are comfortably leading their respective divisions at the moment. The Bills are the only team above .500 in the AFC East, while the Chiefs own a three-win lead over the Chargers for the AFC West.
Another Chiefs-Bills playoff matchup would be a rematch of last year's divisional round. Mahomes earned a third career playoff win over Allen with a 27-24 victory in Buffalo. It sent Kansas City to the AFC Championship, where Andy Reid's crew defeated the Ravens before besting the 49ers in Super Bowl 58.
Of course, there is plenty of season left to be played. Until the playoff bracket dictates otherwise, the Week 11 clash in Buffalo will have to serve as the Mahomes vs. Allen entertainment for 2024.
