Stephen Curry was nearly a no-show in Game 7 against the Rockets.
The Warriors guard went almost the entire first half of Sunday's game without scoring before he knocked down a three with 33 seconds before the break. He was just 1-for-6 from beyond the arc.
But he found his groove in the second half with 19 points, including a dagger three complete with his signature celebration. Curry continued his history of clutch play in Game 7. Coming into Sunday, the 11-time All-Star averaged 32.6 points per game in winner-take-all matchups, the fourth highest in NBA history.

Is Stephen Curry playing tonight?
Stephen Curry played tonight despite nursing a thumb injury suffered in the second-to-last game of the regular season. He scored just three points in the first half, but put up 19 in the second half.
Curry was still impacting the game despite his early scoring struggles, dishing out five assists in the first half to keep his teammates involved. Buddy Hield had 22 points in the first half to lead the Warriors.

Stephen Curry hand injury
Curry suffered a thumb injury in the Warriors penultimate regular season game against the Trail Blazers. Golden State won 103-86, but the Warriors starting point guard appeared to jam his right thumb against a defender's kneecap in the first half.

Curry played with a wrap on his right hand during the NBA Play-In Tournament and first round series against the Rockets, and Houston appeared to be well aware of the injury. In the video below, the guard appears to tell the referee that Rockets guard Dillon Brooks is targeting his thumb.
