Who scored the fastest 100 in the IPL? List of the quickest centuries in the Indian Premier League image

Sellout crowds, electric atmospheres, and some historic individual performances are some of the best things that make the Indian Premier League (IPL) what it is today.

We have already experienced some insane pyrotechnics with the bat this season. Take Rinku Singh’s five sixes off the last five balls of the final over of the run chase against Gujarat Titans for example.

This year, there have been only two centurions: Harry Brook and Venkatesh Iyer.

Although both innings were among the best T20 innings this year, they were not even close to some of the fastest 100s we’ve witnessed in the IPL over the years, with Brook bringing up his century in 55 balls and Venkatesh scoring his in 49 balls.

With that in mind, let’s take a look at the fastest centuries scored in IPL.

Who has scored the fastest 100 in IPL history?

The record for IPL’s fastest century is held by none other than The Universe Boss, Christopher Henry Gayle.

In a game against Pune Warriors India, on April 23, 2013, Chris Gayle embellished the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium by bringing up his century in just 30 balls. It’s a record that stands to this day.
