On Sunday, Rajasthan Royals' league campaign is set to come to an end as they take on Kolkata Knight Riders at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.

RR started this season in fine form, with eight wins in their first nine matches. Since then, they have lost four on the bounce but have secured qualification to the playoffs for this season. The result of their final league match will cement them in either second or third place, with the former being a big advantage.

RR have now managed to breach the top four and qualify for the playoffs on six occasions, in their 15 seasons in the league. Since their trophy win in 2008, they have reached the final just once; in 2022, when they lost to Gujarat Titans. In  the process, GT became the only team other than RR to win the IPL title in their first-ever season in the competition.
