Which team has lost most IPL Playoff matches?
It was a painful defeat for RCB, who had won their last six group stage matches in a row to qualify for the playoffs this year. The result also gave them an unwanted record; they have now become the first team in IPL history to lose 10 playoff matches.
With 10 losses in 15 playoff matches, RCB have the second-worst record among teams who have taken part in at least 10 playoff matches. Only Delhi Daredevils/Capitals are worse off, with nine losses from 11 matches.
The Delhi franchise is level in second place for most playoff matches lost, alongside Chennai Super Kings. However, CSK's nine losses have come in 26 playoff matches, the most of any team in IPL history. Mumbai Indians have played 20 playoff matches, losing seven.
