2. Rahul Tripathi:
A proven Indian middle-order batter in the IPL who has impressed in his previous stints. He can anchor as well as go all guns blazing as per the requirement and would also love an opportunity to redeem himself after some injuries and a dull season or two.
3. Nathan Ellis:
Nathan Ellis is an experienced overseas pacer who could lead the bowling lineup of the Capitals would like in their team. He can bowl in any phase of the match and will also bring in the experience of playing franchise cricket.

6. Mohammad Siraj:
After being released by the RCB (who might as well use an RTM), Siraj is going to be one of the most sought-after players in Jeddah's auction room and the Capitals will also be looking for an Indian pacer in their ranks to lead them in the next couple of IPL cycles.
7. Ashutosh Sharma:
Sharma got his first chance in IPL with the Punjab Kings last year and took it with both hands, hitting the ball from the word go is his forte and will be an exciting option to bat down the order alongside Axar Patel to finish off the innings. He can also not be bought back by PBKS using RTM.
Which players will the DC sign using RTM cards?
After signing back four players in retentions, the Delhi-based franchise is left with an option to use two RTMs and one of them can be an uncapped player. The following are the two best options:
1. Rashikh Salam Dar:
He is currently one of the finest pace bowling prospects in the country and also recently ended up as India's top wicket-taker in the Emerging Asia Cup. He was with them last year and it should be a no-brainer to get him back.
2. Jake Fraser-McGurk:
The explosive opener from Australia has already shown a glimpse of what he can do in the powerplay in the 2024 season. He is another player who can be bankable for the long term and will thrive in T20 cricket.
