Kolkata Knight Riders were the first team to book their berth in the IPL 2024 Final, having displayed impeccable form in the ongoing Indian Premier League season. KKR beat SRH in the Qualifier 1 clash, to book their place in their fourth-ever IPL final. Having won the league twice previously, KKR could become only the third team to win three IPL titles, on May 26, 2024.
KKR finished at the top of the points table at the end of the league stage, something that they achieved for the first time in history. The franchise will now hope to win the qualifier 1 against Sunrisers Hyderabad and then try and go all the way to lift their third IPL title.

KKR have now managed to breach the top four and qualify for the playoffs on eight occasions, in their 17 seasons in the league. Since their trophy win in 2014, they have never won the league again, despite reaching the final in 2021. KKR can add to their trophy cabinet, having qualified for the IPL 2024 Final.
