The 10th season of Women's Big Bash League is set to begin this week, as eight franchises fight to claim the title. The 2024 season marks the tenth season of the tournament which began in 2015.

The WBBL has since become the foremost women's T20 franchise league. The league has fans and followers beyond Australia.

As many as six Indians are set to partake in the competition, representing four franchises.

The tournament will be played across seven venues in Australia. The Melbourne-based franchises (Stars and Renegades) will share their home stadium located in Victoria.
