The Mumbai Indians (MI) batter has been in fine form, scoring his third half-century of the season against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), at the Wankhede Stadium.
After being put to bat first, Mumbai posted 215 runs in their 20 overs, thanks to half-centuries from Ryan Rickelton and SKY. Corbin Bosch and Naman Dhir played handy cameos towards the end to provide MI with a sensational finish.
Yadav has been scoring consistently this season, a big reason behind MI's resurgence after a slow start to the season. The right-handed batter has been an important player in the MI setup, who has shown the ability to change the course of a match on his own.
What did Suryakumar Yadav say?
During the post-innings interview, Yadav was handed the Orange Cap and reacted by hoping to maintain the consistency for the rest of the season.

Speaking to Harsha Bhogle, Yadav said, "This is the first time after a really long time that I am wearing this [Orange] cap, so it feels really special. Hopefully, I can try and continue the same thing."
He has also been very consistent this season, scoring at least 25 runs in each of the games so far. Yadav was himself surprised by the stat, remarking that trusting his game and the process has turned out well so far.
"Is it? I don't know that, it feels good. All the process and routines have come to play on the ground, I feel really happy."
