Jasprit Bumrah injury update
He has been undergoing rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru under the watch of BCCI's head of cricket VVS Laxman.
Earlier it was presumed that Bumrah would return to action in the Asia Cup which will be held in September but his improvement in training could prompt the selectors to include him in the second-string Indian squad that is scheduled to tour Ireland for a T20I series next month.
Bumrah missed playing the T20 World Cup in October last year and was then ruled out of action from IPL 2023 and then the World Test Championship final against Australia.
He was also excluded from the Indian squad that is currently touring West Indies for two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is.

What next for Jasprit Bumrah?
The Mumbai Indians speedster is likely to be included in the squad for the series against Ireland following which he will play in the Asia Cup before expectedly taking part in the ODI World Cup that will be held in India in October-November.
Bumrah's expected return is a huge news for the Indian team who have sorely missed his services over the past year or so.
