Manchester United head to the south coast of England as they take on Bournemouth in the Premier League.

United battled hard to take a point from their clash with Liverpool at Old Trafford last weekend as they came from behind to draw 2-2, although a late Mohamed Salah penalty denied them victory.

Bournemouth, meanwhile, suffered a 2-1 defeat to Luton Town despite taking the lead in the second half — a result that dealt huge damage to their surprise push to qualify for Europe.

The Cherries performed superbly at Old Trafford in the reverse fixture, winning 3-0 back in September on an embarrassing day for United manager Erik ten Hag. The pressure will only grow on the Red Devils boss if he cannot avenge that result with victory on Saturday, but yet another defensive injury crisis means that could be a tall order.

The Sporting News takes a look at the two sides and how they may line up at the weekend.

For the Cherries, Antoine Semenyo and Tyler Adams both miss out along with Marcus Tavernier. Luis Sinisterra is however starting, despite an injury concern.

Bournemouth starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Neto (GK) — Smith, Zabarnyi, Senesi, Kerkez — Cook, Christie — Ouattara, Kluivert, Sinisterra — Solanke.

Man United boss Erik ten Hag is somewhat powerless as his defensive struggles continue. Victor Lindelof and Raphael Varane have been out for the past few games and the Swedish defender will not be back for a month, similarly to Lisandro Martinez.

With Jonny Evans and Luke Shaw also both struggling for fitness in recent weeks, it's Willy Kambwala at the back along with Harry Maguire, who both played well against Liverpool.

Tyrell Malacia has returned to training but is not expected to be in a squad for the rest of the season.

Man United starting lineup (4-2-3-1): Onana (GK) — Dalot, Maguire, Kambwala, Wan-Bissaka — Mainoo, Casemiro — Garnacho, Fernandes, Rashford — Hojlund.

Man United subs (9): Bayindir, Amass, Ogunneye, Amrabat, Eriksen, Mount, Amad, Forson, Wheatley.
