In a recent interview with Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s (RCB) insider Mr. Nags, played by Dinesh Sait, RCB’s former captain, Virat Kohli touched down on some moments from his personal life along with RCB’s resurgence in form ahead of their important game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Saturday.

RCB shared the interview on their official X account, where the player was seen to be enjoying the light-hearted and candid conversation with Mr. Nags. When asked about his children, Vamika and Akaay, Kohli shared a heartwarming update about them.
Mr. Nags jokingly mentioned that Kohli’s got one ready for the IPL and other for the WPL (Women’s Premier League), to which the RCB talisman laughed at the antiques of the interviewer saying “Who is this guy.”
Later on, Kohli revealed that the recently born, Akaay is healthy and doing good while the three-year old Vamika had started swinging the bat
My daughter has picked up a bat and she is really enjoying swinging the bat. But I am not sure. It’s their choice in the end.
Further, Kohli discussed the recent resurgence in form of the team, winning five consecutive games in a row after winning just one out of their initial eight.
The month of May has been very good. In April, I thought we were going into a very dark place. We found a ray of sunlight in May. We are glad that we could make the fans happy again.

Ruturaj Gaikwad’s CSK will enter the Chinnaswamy with an upper hand in terms of net run rate, but the difference isn’t much and the task is very much achievable for the three-time finalists who have been in brilliant form recently.
