Gujarat Titans (GT) batsman Sai Sudharsan scripted history on Friday, May 10, in a clash against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad by becoming the fastest Indian batsman to reach the 1000-run landmark in the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Sudharsan made his debut in the IPL in 2022 for the Gujarat Titans and has been an integral player for the franchise ever since.

He played a brilliant knock in the IPL 2023 final against CSK, scoring a nerveless 96 in just 47 balls to help his team remain in the driver's seat. His performances, both in the IPL and in the Indian domestic circuit, helped him make his debut for India in the ODI series against South Africa in December 2023.
