Nine headlines out of 10 that involve Mohamed Salah as of late have pertained to his precarious contract status.
The Egyptian, who'll go down as one of the greatest and most beloved players in the club's rich history, is out of contract at the end of the current season amidst much uncertainty over whether an extension is the right thing for all parties at his age and current salary.
However, if he has a particular involvement in Liverpool's efforts on Sunday when his side travel to Tottenham Hotspur, he will make history in a way that cannot ever be taken away from him.
Mohamed Salah scoring and assist record
Salah currently sits at 13 Premier League goals and nine assists in this campaign. He's tied for goals with Erling Haaland, but it's an assist in North London that can make him 1 of 1 in a very special way.
Nobody in Prem history so far has managed to reach double figures in both goals and assists before Christmas Day.
All Salah has to do is set up one on Sunday, and he becomes the founding member of the "10/10 before Christmas" club.

Does Salah have to get an assist at Spurs to achieve record?
Yes. This is Liverpool's last league game before Xmas. Their next match is on Boxing Day, when they host Leicester City.
If Salah is to do this, it needs to happen Sunday. And only an assist will do – he already has the required goals for this wonderful piece of potential trivia.
If he misses this 90-minute window, the opportunity is gone until everyone can try again next season. As we know, there's no guarantee as of yet that Salah will have another chance.
