On Friday, October 25, Western Australia faced Tasmania at the WACA in the 10th game of Australia's One Day Cup as they suffered a shocking collapse before getting bowled for just 53.
Batting first, after losing the toss, WA found themselves starting rather slow against tall and lanky pacer, Billy Stanlake, and Tom Rogers opening bowling before Beau Webster wreaked havoc.

Western Australia loses 8 wickets for 1 run
WA lost one of their openers, Aaron Hardie early with just 10 runs on the board before D'Arcy Short stitched a 35-run stand with the experienced campaigner, Cameron Bancroft before Webster dismissed him with an edge towards the wicketkeeper, Jake Doran with 45 runs on the board in 13.5 overs.

What followed was something really absurd that neither side would've thought of. WA's wicketkeeper, Josh Inglis added a run off his 5 balls which was followed by 6 consecutive batters getting out for a duck. Following was their fall of wickets.

In the process, Beau Webster took 6/17 in his 6 overs who was later adjudged as the Player of the Match. Billy Stanlake took 3/12 in his tight 7.1 over spell and Tom Rogers took 1/12 in his 4.
Led by Mitchell Owen's 29(17) and Matthew Wade's 21*(13), Tasmania chased down the score in 8.3 overs and won the match by 7 wickets. Joel Paris and Lance Norris chipped in with 2/10 and 1/20 but it was unlikley to be defended either way.
