Did Rajat Patidar get run out because of Virat Kohli?

The incident took place in the 4th over of RCB’s chase when Kohli clipped a delivery to midwicket. As the pair began running, there was immediate confusion.

Kohli advanced towards the non-striker’s end before stopping mid-way, while Patidar, who had begun running, was forced to rush back to his crease. But it was too late.

Karun Nair showed incredible accuracy as he threw the ball directly at the stumps and caught Patidar short of his ground.
