Jasprit Bumrah, the star bowler who everybody loves, did something very special. He went past the legendary Lasith Malinga and now holds the record for taking the most wickets for MI in IPL history.
It all happened during their match against LSG. Bumrah took the wicket of Aiden Markram and history was made.

When and how did Bumrah break Malinga's record?
It was on April 27, Sunday evening at the Wankhede Stadium, when Bumrah made this happen. MI were playing against LSG.
Bumrah needed just one wicket to go past Malinga’s tally of 170 wickets for Mumbai. And he did it by removing Aiden Markram during the second innings. Markram tried to take him on but ended up giving a catch to Naman Dhir.

With that wicket, Bumrah moved to 171 scalps for MI and became their number one bowler when it comes to wickets in the IPL. He went on to pick up three more wickets during the match.
