Just as it did in the first year, the second-ever NBA Cup (formerly In-Season Tournament) brought out the best in some of the NBA's biggest stars.
At the end of the tournament, the best of the best will be honored with Most Valuable Player and All-Tournament Team awards. Each honor is straightforward and reserved for those who put forth exemplary efforts throughout NBA Cup play.
While all 30 teams were in contention to begin, it is fitting that the last two teams standing were led by a pair of superstars in Milwaukee's Giannis Antetokounmpo and Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

NBA Cup MVP 2024
Giannis Antetokounpmo was named MVP of the 2024 NBA Cup.

In the championship game, Antetokounmpo scored 26 points, pulled down 19 rebounds and dished out 10 assists. For the NBA Cup, he averaged 30.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, 7.7 assists, 2.8 blocks per game.
Antetokounmpo adds NBA Cup MVP to a trophy case that already includes two NBA MVP awards, a Defensive Player of the Year trophy and an NBA Finals MVP award.
NBA Cup All-Tournament Team 2024
The NBA Cup All-Tournament Team is headlined by MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and championship teammate Damian Lillard.
Rounding out the All-Tournament Team is Oklahoma City's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Atlanta's Trae Young and Houston's Alperen Sengun.

How NBA Cup MVP and All-Tournament Team are selected
A combination of fans and a media panel selects the NBA Cup MVP and All-Tournament Team at the conclusion of the NBA Cup. Voting is based on performance during Group Play and the Knockout Rounds.
Here is how voting for NBA Cup MVP shook out:

Twenty media members were part of the voting panel. In addition, NBA fans counted for five votes by voting via the NBA App.

The NBA Cup MVP will receive a trophy, as does each player who made the All-Tournament team.
Additionally, each member of the teams that made it to the Knockout Rounds earned prize money, with the championship team winning $500,000 per player and runners-up receiving $200,000 per player.
