Rajasthan Royals (RR) are set to host Chennai Super Kings in their last home game at Guwahati in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
Local star Riyan Parag is also in search for his first win as the franchise's captain this year, after losing the opening two games.

End of match: Rajasthan Royals win by 6 runs
CSK fought hard but Rajasthan's bowlers held their nerve to seal a narrow win. Ruturaj Gaikwad continued to inch closer to the target but wickets kept falling at the opposite end.
Wanindu Hasaranga picked up crucial wickets with his googlies. CSK still had a chance with Dhoni and Jadeja at the crease -- needing 45 runs from the last three overs.
A tight over from Theekshana -- conceding just five runs -- tilted the game in Rajasthan’s favour. CSK ultimately fell short by six runs.
End of 10 overs: Chennai Super Kings 74/3
Rajasthan Royals' spinners have kept the pressure on. Wanindu Hasaranga struck twice -- first dismissing Rahul Tripathi in the 7th over and then Shivam Dube in the 10th.
Dube had shown intent but an outstanding catch by Riyan Parag ended his stay. Ruturaj Gaikwad held firm and have been rotating the strike well.
Meanwhile, Theekshana kept things tight from the other end -- conceding just 12 runs in his two overs.
End of 6 overs: Chennai Super Kings 42/1
CSK had a tough start to their innings. Jofra Archer bowled a wicket-maiden in the first over. He dismissed Rachin Ravindra for a duck.
CSK struggled in the first three overs -- they scored only 5 runs and coming under pressure. Rahul Tripathi played a few risky shots and took on Jofra Archer. Ruturaj Gaikwad found his rhythm and struck three boundaries off Sandeep Sharma’s over.
End of the first innings: Rajasthan Royals 182/9
CSK made a strong comeback between the 10th and 20th overs after RR looked set to post a daunting total. At the halfway mark, RR was cruising at 99-2 and seemed well on track to surpass 200.
However, CSK tightened their grip with disciplined bowling, led by Matheesha Pathirana and Noor Ahmad. They played crucial roles in breaking RR’s momentum and provided key breakthroughs.
RR could only manage to reach 182-9, a total that, while still competitive, feels more like a par score thanks to CSK’s excellent recovery in the second half of the innings.
End of 10 overs: Rajasthan Royals 99/2
RR have continued their strong run and has reached on 99/2 after 10 overs. Nitish Rana remains the star, having smashed 70 off 33 balls. He and Riyan Parag (4 off 8 balls) have steadied things after Samson's dismissal. C
SK's bowlers, led by Noor Ahmad, but Rana's aggressive approach keeps RR in control. CSK will need more breakthroughs to stem the run flow, else 200 is on the cards.

Rajasthan Royals had a strong start in the first six overs, scoring 79 runs for the loss of one wicket. Jaiswal hit a boundary off the first ball, but was quickly dismissed by Khaleel Ahmed.
Nitish Rana then took charge, hitting two classy boundaries and later attacking Ravi Ashwin with two sixes and a four. Rana raced to a rapid fifty off just 21 balls and dominated the powerplay.
CSK will hope to regain control as the powerplay ends, with RR in a strong position currently.
