Indian Skipper Rohit Sharma has failed yet again, for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. The former MI skipper, who was relieved of his captaincy role ahead of IPL 2024, has had a tough time with the bat this season.

In Mumbai Indians' penultimate game of IPL 2024 against Kolkata Knight Riders, Sharma was dismissed cheaply, yet again. The 37-year-old, who has happy memories at the Eden Gardens, was dismissed for 19 runs off 24 deliveries.

Moreover, Rohit Sharma has scored an aggregate of 52 runs in his last six IPL innings. His 105-run knock against Chennai Super Kings constitutes over 30% of his overall runs in IPL 2024.

The fans have slammed the experts for not speaking about Rohit Sharma's disaster class at the Eden Gardens on Saturday. The same experts have talked on numerous occasions, about the strike-rate issues of other Indian batters like Virat Kohli and Ruturaj Gaikwad, to name a few.

Moreover, Sharma has only scored 52 runs off 59 deliveries in his last six outings, has stirred the emotions of fans, who expect the Indian captain to do better, right ahead of the ICC T20I World Cup.

Sports Anchor Vikrant Gupta blamed Rohit Sharma for his own terrible display at the Eden Gardens on Saturday. Gupta called Sharma, a fish out of water - clueless, and lifeless.

Nobody than his own self to blame tonight. No confidence, no self belief; Rohit was like fish out of water. Going nowhere, Vikrant Gupta stated on X.
