India is facing New Zealand in Pune in the second Test of the series following the visitor's win in Bengaluru and India's Ravichandran Ashwin starts off the Test by breaking another record as he topples his Australian counterpart, Nathan Lyon to become the highest wicket-taker in the history of the World Test Championship.
Ashwin came into the second Test with the same number of wickets as Lyon, i.e., 187 before he dismissed the Kiwi skipper, Tom Latham by catching him plumb in front of the wickets early in the first hour of the day.

Following Nathan Lyon in the list are two more Aussies in Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc in the top 5, which explains India's and Australia's dominance in Tests in recent years. The next highest wicket taker for India is Jasprit Bumrah who sits just outside the the top-5.
