The Hong Kong Sixes tournament has made its return after a 7-year gap of 19 seasons played between 1992 to 2017 and will be played in three days from November 1 to November 3.

Before the ongoing season, Pakistan, England and South Africa share the honours as the best teams so far with 5 titles each and the Proteas come into the 2024 season as the defending champions.

There will be 12 countries participating in Hong Kong Sixes, the 6-over tournament.

What is the format of the Hong Kong Sixes 2024?

The 12 teams in the Hong Kong Sixes are divided into 4 groups of three, where 11 international teams plus hosts Hong Kong will play matches over just three days.

The 12 teams are split into 4 groups, with the results determining the seeding positions for the second day. Finals day includes four quarterfinals, with the four losers heading into the plate tournament, while the remaining four teams compete for the major title.
