LSG are coming off the back of consecutive wins over defending champions CSK, with the latest one coming thanks to a superb century from Marcus Stoinis. Currently in fourth place, another win here will take them to 12 points, helping them plant one foot in the playoffs

However, RR will not be easy to beat. The table-toppers have been the outstanding team of this season, with seven wins out of eight and their only loss coming off the final ball of the match against Gujarat Titans. They have virtually already qualified for the playoffs, but will be looking to remain consistent throughout the league stage.

In the previous match between these two teams, RR beat LSG by 20 runs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
