Former Indian captain Virat Kohli just managed to score 18 runs in India's defeat in the Pune Test where India also ended up losing the home series for the first time since 2012.

As Kohli went another Test match without a century, it extended his wait for an international hundred to 26 innings. His last century came in the ODI World Cup 2023 where he broke Sachin Tendulkar's record of the most One-Day centuries against New Zealand in Mumbai.

His last 100 in Test cricket came in the series against West Indies, away from home in July 2023 where he scored 117 in Port of Spain.

As Virat has failed to score big in recent times, let us have a look at his record in Test cricket since 2020.

Virat Kohli's record in Tests since 2020:

Virat has struggled to score big runs in Test cricket for quite some time now and everyone is aware of how he fared in the 2020 to 2022 period, waiting for his 71st international century.

Since then, he has scored 10 centuries in internationals but only two (2) of them have come in Tests, one has come in T20Is and the rest seven (7) have come in the ODIs.

So far, Virat has scored zero international centuries in 2024. However, with one Test against New Zealand left followed by 4 against Australia before the end of the year, he still has a decent amount of chances to redeem himself and make a solid comeback and silence the critics.
