MI vs LSG, IPL 2025: Live scorecard, match updates

That's all from our side today. It was a pleasure bringing the details of the first match of the Super Sunday double-header.

End of innings: LSG - 161/10

A dominating performance from the Paltans, as they clinch their fifth straight win of the season. The bowlers did their job well, as the LSG batters were never allowed to settle so easily. Badoni and Miller tried to pull things back, but their efforts just weren't enough.

Jasprit Bumrah proved to be the difference maker once again as he picked up 4 wickets, two being of the in-form Nicholas Pooran and the dangerous David Miller.

LSG have now lost their last three games on the trot, as they have now lost five matches this season, making qualification scenarios even more complicated.

End of 15 overs: LSG - 140/5

Lucknow find themselves in big trouble as half of the team is back in the dugout. Ayush Badoni played well for his 35 off 22 deliveries before falling to Trent Boult, who picked up his 50th wicket in the MI colours.

David Miller (24) and Abdul Samad (1) will try to score as many runs as possible in the last five overs to give LSG a chance to come back in the game.

End of 10 overs: LSG - 103/3

Skipper Rishabh Pant once again failed to make any impact with his batting, as he tried to reverse sweep Will Jacks but could find Karn Sharma at short third. Nicholas Pooran started well but he too fell to the golden arm of Jacks, trying to clear Suryakumar Yadav stationed at long off.

Mitchell Marsh (33) and Ayush Badoni (26) will look to stitch a strong partnership here to keep LSG in the chase.

End of powerplay: LSG - 60/1

LSG have enough runs on the board in the first six overs, thanks to powerful hitting from Mitchell Marsh and Nicholas Pooran. Both the batsmen will look to continue this partnership, as these two have proven to be sure-shot match winners for the Lucknow-based franchise this season.

Mumbai will look to pick quick wickets to maintain their winning streak at the Wankhede intact.

5:40 pm: The chase is underway! Mitchell Marsh takes strike. Trent Boult to start the proceedings for MI.

End of 20 overs: MI - 215/7

Mumbai finish strongly at 215 in their quota of 20 overs, thanks to Suryakumar Yadav's powerful 54(28). Corbin Bosch's 20(10) and Naman Dhir's 25*(11) powered MI to a sensational finish. The LSG bowlers had a day to forget as none of the bowlers went for less than 10 runs per over.

LSG need 216 to win to register their sixth win of the season.

End of 15 overs: MI - 157/4

Will Jacks had to go back to the dugout after getting clean bowled by Mayank Yadav. A good ball angling into the pads, as Jacks misses the line completely. Tilak Varma too couldn't score much as he tries to slog sweep a googly from Ravi Bishnoi, but gets caught at deep backward square leg by Prince Yadav. Suryakumar Yadav (44) and skipper Hardik Pandya (5) will look to maximize the innings in the last 5 overs.

Lucknow have pulled it back quite well, as they look to restrict Mumbai within the 200-run mark to have a smooth chase in the second innings.

End of 10 overs: MI - 105/2

Ryan Rickelton departed after a brilliant 58 off 32 deliveries as he tried to clear the fielder at covers. Digvesh Singh bowled it a little slower and away from the left hander as he failed to generate enough power behind the shot. Suryakumar Yadav (5) and Will Jacks (27) will look to build a partnership here to lay a solid foundation for the upcoming batters.

Lucknow have so far failed to apply a brake on Mumbai's innings, and will look to pick a couple of wickets in the next three-four overs.

End of powerplay: MI - 66/1

Rohit Sharma pulled Mayank Yadav for two massive sixes before getting caught out at short third man. Ryan Rickelton seems to be in fine touch as he has played really well for his 49*(24). He is being supported by Will Jacks (3) in the other end as the two batsmen look to take the partnership further.

Lucknow will look to squeeze a wicket or two to bounce back in the game.

3:30 pm: The game is underway! Ryan Rickelton takes strike. Mayank Yadav starts the proceedings for LSG.

3:00 pm: TOSS! LSG won the toss and have chosen to bowl first.

2:30 pm: The toss is scheduled at 3:00 pm IST.
