Indian southpaw Tilak Varma joined wicketkeeper Sanju Samson in a record partnership in the 4th T20I against South Africa, as he notched up a hundred and became the second Indian to hit consecutive centuries in T20Is.
Sanju had scored a century against Bangladesh in the final T20I of the three-match bilateral series in October. The 29-year-old hit 111 runs in Hyderabad, followed by 107 in the first T20I of the SA tour.
On the other hand, Tilak smashed centuries in the third and fourth matches of the South Africa T20I series where he won Player of the Match awards in both games.
