Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will kick off their respective IPL campaigns as they face off at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Sunday, March 24. This is the second day game of the tournament so far.

These two sides were not very active at the auction, instead choosing to retain their pre-existing cores and go for very specific buys like Rovman Powell (RR) and Arshin Kulkarni (LSG). There was also a trade between these sides as Avesh Khan and Devdutt Padikkal went to RR and LSG respectively.
This should be a good match-up between two sides with powerful batting lineups. RR's top three of Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jos Buttler and Sanju Samson is among the best in the tournament, while LSG can be equally destructive with the likes of Kyle Mayers and Quinton de Kock.
