What happened between MS Dhoni and Daryl Mitchell?
Daryl Mitchell was visibly distraught on MS Dhoni after the latter denied him a strike in the final over of the CSK innings. MS Dhoni is not scared to take matters into his ends, in the fag end of any innings.
With the reputation of his explosive finishing skills, Dhoni denied Mitchell his strike, and Mitchell ran the 22-yard pitch twice, as he was sent back to the non-striker's end. Batters do the gesture with a tail-ender at the opposite end. However, Thala denied the strike to a genuine batter.
MS Dhoni scored a six after he denied the strike, but with a low total on the board, every run is valuable. Mitchell was unhappy with the 42-year-old, but one cannot question the stalwart, can they!
