Indian opener Sanju Samson was in record-breaking mood in the first T20I against South Africa in Durban. The 29-year-old scored a scintillating century (107 off 50) in the inaugural game of the four-match bilateral series.
Sanju has scored consecutive centuries in T20Is, after scoring his first ton (111 off 47) against Bangladesh last month. He became the first Indian and only the fourth in the world to do so. Breaking a host of T20I records with his blistering knock of 107, Samson has also equalled former T20I skipper Rohit Sharma's record.
The Indian opener hit seven boundaries and ten sixes in his knock in Durban, equaling Rohit Sharma's ten sixes in his century against Sri Lanka in Indore in 2017.
