Bills predicted to lose $100 million star to rising AFC team image

The Buffalo Bills put together arguably put together the best offensive season in franchise history, breaking the team record for points in a season and also becoming the first team in NFL history with 30+ rushing and passing touchdowns.

This came after a big trade the Bills made early in the season. After a hot start 3-0 start, the Bills lost two straight games and their receiving corps shoed clear signs of weakness and needed an upgrade. Buffalo traded for Amari Cooper from the Cleveland Browns. After a run to the AFC Championship Game, Cooper is now a free agent, and Brenden Deeg and Daniel Valente of The Score predict that he will land back with the team that drafted him - the Las Vegas Raiders.

"After acquiring Geno Smith from the Seattle Seahawks, the Raiders appear set on competing for a playoff spot in 2025," they write." A Cooper homecoming will help an offense that lacks playmakers outside Brock Bowers."

This would be a move that makes sense for the Raiders. While Cooper didn't put up the big numbers both he and fans have grown used to in 2024, a lot of that had to do with the Bills' offense and their "everyone eats" mantra, as well as Cooper dealing with an injury that caused him to miss several games. He would still be a quality addition to an offense as a No. 2 or No. 3 piece.
