The Winnipeg Jets have flipped the script and grabbed control of their first-round showdown, heading into Game 6 with a 3-2 series edge over the St. Louis Blues.

In Game 5, played on home ice Wednesday night, Winnipeg came out firing on all cylinders, skating away with a 5-3 win that put the Blues on the ropes. Kyle Connor led the charge with a goal and two helpers, setting the tone in a game the Jets absolutely needed to swing the momentum back their way.

After getting steamrolled in St. Louis during Games 3 and 4, the Jets responded with grit and firepower. Mason Appleton dished out three assists like he was dealing cards, while Vladislav Namestnikov and Nino Niederreiter each chipped in with a goal and an assist of their own.

Between the pipes, Connor Hellebuyck wasn't overly busy but stood tall when called upon, stopping 16 shots to backstop the victory. Now it's back to Missouri for Game 6 on Friday, where the Blues will be fighting to keep their playoff hopes alive.

Here's what you need to know about Tuesday's matchup between the Blues and Jets, including broadcast information and start time.
