A’ja Wilson, the 28-year-old center for the Las Vegas Aces who is widely regarded as one of the most dominant figures in the WNBA, gave fans a nostalgic nod in an Instagram story showing off her latest purchase — the 20th Anniversary opaque hot pink vinyl edition of Ciara’s 2004 debut album “Goodies,” writing, “This is a MUST GET.”

While it may not be her favorite album of all time — that would be “Take Care” by Drake — in an interview with Columbia Metropolitan, she revealed "pink, any shade" is her favorite color, which apparently includes opaque hot pink vinyl.

Known for her unstoppable game, including three WNBA MVP awards, two Olympic gold medals and two league championships, Wilson is continuously adding to her accolades.

Last year, she became a New York Times best-selling author with the release of her first book, "Dear Black Girls.” In February, she was named one of TIME Magazine's 2025 Women of the Year.  And in May, Wilson will release her first shoe and apparel collection with Nike, called A'One — and, of course, she’s kicking it off in pink, with the Pink A’ura signature basketball shoe.

Wilson can be seen embracing the shoe in a recent Instagram post, she captioned, "A’ONE Has Arrived ... Coming May 2025."

According to Nike, the shoe features “bold layers of pink to reflect Wilson’s “confidence, loyalty and passion.” The shoes also incorporate “deeply personal touches” including a “nod to the pearl necklace Wilson’s grandmother gifted her as a child” and Celtic symbols that “pay homage to Wilson’s parents, whom she credits as the foundation of her success.”

A favorite quote from her late grandmother, “As a matter of fact, the best is yet to come,” is embedded in the outsole. And another inscription on the shoe’s heel reads, “Weakness, weakness. We don’t have time for that.”

“The A’One is meant to go the distance, taking control from the jump and dominating the floor on every play,” Wilson said in a news release. “From the beginning, we designed the shoe to both support my game and to provide young hoopers a tool to help them level up. The A’One aces that assignment, delivering exactly what I need to push my performance and inspiring the next generation to give it their all on every play.”

Nike will launch the A'One collection with the "Pink A'ura" colorway at 10 a.m. ET on May 6, 2025.
