Two weeks ago, Trevor Lawrence suffered an AC joint sprain in a matchup with the Eagles. This was the second AC joint sprain of Lawrence's career and was serious enough to keep him on the sidelines last week against the Vikings.
Without Lawrence in the lineup, fans were treated to the Mac Jones experience in Jacksonville. Jones led the Jaguars to just 143 yards of offense in a 12-7 loss to the Vikings. This was Jacksonville's third-consecutive loss and was effectively the final nail in the coffin of a lost season.
There's been some speculation that Lawrence will be be shutdown for the season, but head coach Doug Pederson has indicated that he could return to the field in the near future. Let's check in on the latest updates on Lawrence to see if that return will be in Week 11 against the Lions.

Lawrence was officially ruled inactive ahead of Sunday's game, making the news official.

Jaguars' QB Depth Chart: Who is Trevor Lawrence's Backup?
Without Lawrence on the field, Jacksonville will turn to former Patriot, Mac Jones. He started last week against the Vikings and will take the reigns of the Jaguars' offense once again this Sunday.
Brian Branch, Kerby Joseph, and company have looked great this season, but this should still be a better matchup for Jones than Brian Flores' vaunted Minnesota defense. Even if it's still ugly for the Jacksonville offense, there's no where to go but up for Jones after last week's performance.
