The biggest story coming out of New York this week revolves around the Giants' (former) quarterback Daniel Jones. After being benched to start the week, Jones has been granted his release from the team. The former No. 6 pick will now look for work elsewhere.
Without Jones on the roster, the Giants will be moving into a new era on the offensive side of the ball. How will things shake out for the Giants in the future? It's too early to say, but one thing is for certain: Malik Nabers will be a key piece of their success.
Fortunately, Nabers will be active in Week 12. He popped up on the injury report late this week and was in danger of missing the Giants' matchup with the Buccaneers, but recovered enough to be active for the matchup.

Will Malik Nabers play this week? Injury update on Giants' WR
Despite missing practice Friday, Nabers is active for the matchup, per the team's official inactives report Sunday.
As recently as Friday morning, the expectation was that Nabers would play without issue on Sunday. He then logged a DNP on Friday afternoon due to a groin injury. Given his lack of practice participation Friday, there was concern Nabers wouldn't be able to go.

When players are unexpectedly held out of practice late in the week, it's typically a bad sign for their gameday availability. However, New York beat reporters believe this was precautionary as Nabers has been dealing with this groin injury for several weeks. That turned out to be the case, as Nabers will play.
Giants' WR Depth Chart: Who is Malik Nabers' Backup?
Throughout the year, we've seen Wan'Dale Robinson and Darius Slayton playing alongside Nabers at wide receiver. Those two should still play a role, but having Nabers back will help out newly-minted QB1 Tommy DeVito considerably Sunday.
With Nabers active, Jalin Hyatt probably won't see an expanded role against the Buccaneers. He was expected to see more time if Nabers was ruled out. Hyatt is known for his ability to win downfield and generate explosive plays. Though he probably won't play a ton, Hyatt could still connect with DeVito on a deep ball against a struggling Tampa Bay secondary.

Malik Nabers fantasy outlook Week 12
The last month of the season has been full of pedestrian fantasy production for Malik Nabers; he has not cleared 15.0 PPR points in four straight games. Even though he's disappointed in recent weeks, Nabers remains a must-start receiver.
Few receivers can compete for a 30-percent target share every week and Nabers is one of them. The Buccaneers are also a top-10 matchup for wide receivers in fantasy. Nabers comes in as the WR6 in the Sporting News' WR Rankings and belongs in starting lineups everywhere.
