The Los Angeles Rams and Jalen Ramsey have been floated in trade rumors for a while now.
He played there once before, winning a Super Bowl, and still has many fans in the building.
The Dolphins have pretty much admitted it'll make sense for them to trade Ramsey.
Here's what Rams coach Sean McVay had to say about Ramsey:
"He's a great player. We know him very well. We know him intimately."
But there's one reason above any other that a Rams-Dolphins deal feels like only a matter of time, with these numbers via ESPN.
The Rams have $17.7 million in cap space for the 2025 season.
Ramsey's 2025 cap hit is $16.67 million.

Los Angeles hasn't had this much cap room in a long time, but now? Ramsey fits right into the space.
There's even an escape hatch. Ramsey has no guaranteed money in his contract after this season, so the Rams could get out of the deal if the trade doesn't work out.
Ramsey turns 30 in October, and he played all 17 games for Miami in 2024. He had two interceptions.
McVay seems to be setting up for this deal to happen.
"He and I have really stayed in touch," McVay told reporters on Saturday.
