Penn State quarterback Drew Allar doesn't have to worry about the NFL Draft for another year.

In the meantime, he can spend Saturday in an extra good mood.

The Nittany Lions just landed receiver Trebor Pena out of the transfer portal, according to On3.

Pena had developed into one of the most dynamic receivers in the country at Syracuse.

In 2024, Pena had 84 catches for 941 yards and nine touchdowns, catching passes from former Ohio State QB Kyle McCord.

With McCord off to the NFL, Pena chose to look for greener pastures. He found them with Allar at Penn State.

According to local TV reporter Allie Berube, Pena's logic was this:

"The 6th year transfer WR from Syracuse says it wasn’t about the money, but about finding the best program to develop and help win."

Pena is a 6-foot speedster originally from New Jersey.

He was a two-star prospect out of high school who spent five years at SU.

This will be his final year of eligibility, and he chose to spend it in Happy Valley chasing CFP dreams with Allar.
