Quinn Ewers is still waiting to hear his name called in the NFL Draft, but the former Texas quarterback could have a new home soon.
Ewers is projected by most outlets to be a Day 2 pick. Some have him going in the second round, while others have him selected in the third. Wherever he ends up, he should be a strong addition to the quarterback room.
Ewers is an experienced signal caller who went 27-9 in his three years as the starter at Texas and made two appearances in the College Football Playoff. In his final year with the Longhorns, he had a 65.8% completion percentage and threw for 3,472 yards and 31 touchdowns with 12 interceptions.

NFL.com's Lance Zierlin says Ewers has a quick release and good touch on his passes in the short and intermediate levels of the field but struggled with consistency throughout his college career. If he goes to the right situation, he could become a reliable backup or a No. 1 option over time.

Where will Quinn Ewers be drafted?
Ewers is projected to go in the second round in some mock drafts and the third round in others.
ESPN's Matt Miller has Ewers going to the Saints at No. 40 overall. He says the move would make a lot of sense for New Orleans, as the team is looking to move on from Derek Carr soon and Ewers' skillset would work well in new head coach Kellen Moore's offense.
NFL.com's Chad Reuter has Ewers being selected by the Seahawks in the second round at No. 52. It would be a less than ideal landing spot for Ewers, who would likely be the fourth option on the depth chart behind Sam Darnold, Drew Lock and Sam Howell.
