No, Aaron Rodgers still hasn't signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as their free agent QB solution.
The longer he waits, the more nervy things get for Pittsburgh.
And ESPN beat writer Brooke Pryor is wondering whether the Steelers could come to have some regrets.
Pittsburgh had a number of chances to choose Shedeur Sanders (or a first-round chance at Jaxson Dart) during the NFL and opted not to.
The Steelers' only QB draft choice was Ohio State national champion Will Howard in the sixth round.
Here's how Pryor lays out the concern:
"The Steelers were disciplined in their approach to the draft, filling their most pressing needs with good value picks that will reinforce the team's physical identity. In making those picks, the Steelers passed on other quarterback options and waited to select Ohio State's Will Howard in the sixth round. That move clearly pays off if Rodgers fills the final quarterback spot, but if he doesn't, the Steelers might regret the decision to wait until Day 3 to take a signal-caller."

The key word remains "might" in the phrase "might regret."
If Rodgers signs, all will be OK. That's been true the entire offseason.
If he doesn't it's a QB battle between Howard, Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson, or a desperation trade for the possibly washed up Kirk Cousins.
The Steelers wouldn't have created competition controversy by drafting a higher rookie and then signing Rodgers. Rodgers sat for multiple years. A Pittsburgh rookie QB could sit for one or two.
But now they all hold their breath, because Rodgers is the only remaining solution that could possibly work out.
