The Chicago Bears bolstered their defensive line this offseason with the signing of Grady Jarrett, who comes over after 10 years with the Atlanta Falcons. As a result, that could make last year's starter, Andrew Billings, expendable.

And that's something Ralph Vacchiano of FOX Sports agrees with. He recently named Billings as the Bears player most likely to be traded during the 2025 NFL draft.

In response to that, Last Word on Sports' Anthony Palacios thinks Billings will indeed get traded, and he named three possible landing spots for the veteran, one of which was the Baltimore Ravens, who have a clear need upfront.

Here's Palacios' thoughts:

The Baltimore Ravens are just one better defense away from being Super Bowl champions one day. Last season, they had one of the worst pass rushes, and the team signing Yannick Ngakoue to find some temporary help was an example of that. As much as veteran Jadeveon Clowney was just one player, he turned this defense from good to great in a heartbeat. The Ravens couldn’t compensate for his next contract due to salary cap concerns, and that seems to be the case for this offseason, too, losing linebacker Malik Harrison to the Steelers.

Meanwhile, Broderick Washington and Travis Jones are the weak links of this defense, while Nnamdi Madubuike has been carrying this defensive trenches on his back. Billings might have been a rotational defensive lineman over the past year, but he’s another big body that the Ravens could roll the dice on without hurting their pockets.

On top of everything Palacios just mentioned, the Ravens saw Michael Pierce retire this offseason, which leaves them even shorter on the inside. Adding Billings would amount to an adequate move to replace Pierce.

With 76 career starts until his belt, Billings brings a wealth of experience with him, which is perfect for a win-now team like the Ravens. The 30-year-old appeared in eight games last season because of injury and notched one sack, 13 total tackles, and two tackles for loss.

Billings left a lot to be desired against the run (50.0 grade), but a 78.6 pass-rush grade from Pro Football Focus, which ranked 10th at the position, shows he's capable of making an impact by getting after the quarterback.

Now north of 30 and in the final year of his contract, Billings should come cheap in a trade, with a late-Day 3 pick likely being all it'll cost to get him. He also only has a $3.3 million cap hit in 2025, which is perfect for a Ravens team that sports just $11.4 million in cap space.
