Palace will prepare for round two against Arsenal without either Matheus Franca or Chadi Riad, who are both back training but likely to need more time before returning to action.

Arsenal could welcome back Declan Rice for the trip to Palace, with the England international passed fit but kept out of the Cup quarterfinal — likely to ensure his participation in the EPL encounter with the Eagles.
And following Gabriel Jesus' treble against the same team midweek, there's a chance he's given a shot to start at the expense of regular centre-forward Kai Havertz, who hasn't been supplying the goals required of an out-and-out frontman. The German would either drop to the bench, or perhaps Gabriel Martinelli makes way for a front three of Havertz, Jesus and Bukayo Saka.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Riccardo Calafiori, meanwhile, are 50/50 for the weekend fixture and may need more time before returning.
Takehiro Tomiyasu and Ben White are out for the foreseeable future with knee injuries and definitely won't feature.
