Formula 1 driver contracts 2025: Line-ups, deals, end dates for every team this year image

The Formula 1 driver market is always active.

Teams are constantly on the lookout for any possible moves, premature termination of a contract or the end of a deal.

Developments in the paddock are constant, with ongoing discussions held that could lead to changes at any point.

That's already proven to be the case in 2025, with Liam Lawson replaced at Red Bull by Yuki Tsunoda after just two Grands Prix.

The Sporting News collates how long the current crop of F1 drivers have contracts for.

Red Bull Racing

As long as Red Bull has a competitive car, the Austrian-based team can keep the most talented driver on the grid under their wing. Max Verstappen, the reigning world champion, has a contract until 2028. Lawson initially replaced Sergio Pérez on a one-year contract, but Tsunoda has since been promoted to the seat.

Ferrari

After failing to deliver in past campaigns with Valtteri Bottas and Guanyu Zhou, Sauber (A.K.A. Stake F1) is fielding two new drivers for 2025. Nico Hulkenberg has left Haas to join the team, while Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto is on debut after being crowned F2 champion in 2024.

Haas
