The Los Angeles Kings and Edmonton Oilers are set to face off at Rogers Place on Monday night.

The two sides are once again on a collision course in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

With just three games left on the schedule, Los Angeles (46-24-9) holds a four-point edge over Edmonton (47-28-5) for second place in the Pacific Division. That margin means home-ice advantage for the upcoming best-of-seven series is still up for grabs.

This marks the fourth straight postseason the two rivals will square off, with Edmonton having had the upper hand each time. The Oilers dispatched the Kings in five games last year, needed six in 2023, and edged them in a thrilling seven-game series back in 2022.

Their most recent encounter wasn't much of a contest either, as Edmonton dominated early and never looked back. A 7-4 blowout in Game 1 followed by a commanding 6-1 win in Game 3 all but sealed the Kings' fate in a lopsided five-game series.

The Sporting News has all the details on how to watch the Oilers vs. Kings.
