Browns predicted to cut ties with Shedeur Sanders in shocking move image

No matter what anybody wants to say about new Cleveland Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders, he's a star.

Whether on the field or off the field, Sanders attracts attention, which isn't the worst thing.

At the end of the day, the young man goes out there and tries as hard as he can, typically performing at a high level.

With the Browns quarterback situation being a bit strange, having five quarterbacks on the roster, the team will likely have to make a decision on a few of them.

Whether it becomes Sanders remains to be seen, but in a recent article, Steven Corder of Athlon Sports predicted that Cleveland would move on from its recent draft pick. He added that he went from a star at Colorado, backed by his father, Deion Sanders, to now facing pressure at the NFL level.

“At Colorado, Sanders was the face of the program and was backed by Coach Prime, who protected the play-calling structure in his favor and surrounded him with belief. In Cleveland, he’s just another arm in camp. He threw for 4,134 yards and 37 TDs in his final college season, but none of that guarantees success under NFL pressure. If he doesn’t impress quickly, he could be off the roster entirely.

“Shedeur’s NFL journey may begin with a rude awakening. Colorado fans should prepare for the real possibility that their former star is cut before the regular season kicks off,” he wrote

After selecting Sanders, it might not make too much sense to move on from him already. If anything, it seems possible that the Browns could move on from Dillon Gabriel, whom they drafted in the third round.

Sanders has been the much better quarterback throughout his career and should have an opportunity to play early on.
